Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Sorting, delivery, receiving, processing, and scanning mail and packages while conducting and completing work in compliance with customer requirements and EG values.SCHEDULE
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm or 7:00am-3:30pm
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- Ability to communicate well (verbally and in writing) and relate positively with EG staff and customers.
- Detail Oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to accomplish goals while working within established parameters.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and software applications. Basic word and excel preferred but not required.
- Delivery and Shipping & Receiving experience preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently. Over 60 lbs requires team lift or lift assist.
- Required to stand/and or walk up to 5 hour per day.
- Sitting on average 3-4 hours per day.
- Gripping/grasping, bending/twisting, writing frequently
- Kneeling/Crouch-occasionally
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Attendance - Be at work. 1. Be at work during scheduled shift, arriving on time.
- Assure all work is safely completed to standard 1. Do quality work on a consistent basis 1. Complete their assigned work in a safe and timely manner. 1. Be productive throughout your scheduled work hours. 1. Assure the satisfactory and timely completion of corrective action, special requests, high profile work, and other projects and activities.
- Be a Team Player 1.
OTHER DUTIES
- Pickup mail from Post Office.
- Deliver and pickup items from various locations in Fremont via courier van.
- Sort and deliver US Mail and inter-office envelopes.
- Receive/sort and deliver inbound UPS/FedEx shipments.
- Stuff and Post US Mail items.
- Assist Customers.
- Stock copy machines with paper.
- Data entry, email, Microsoft Teams.
