In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages, mail, and parcels along designated rural routes. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, unload, and organize packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary Deliver parcels along assigned rural routes with precision and timeliness, ensuring accurate delivery to each recipient Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns politely Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly Follow route instructions meticulously, optimizing delivery efficiency while maintaining safety standards Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock organization, and manual lifting of heavy items Skills Proven experience in customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with loading/unloading procedures Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license; familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus Delivery driver experience demonstrating safe driving habits on route driving assignments Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks involving moving and manual handling Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols and traffic regulations for drivers or courier roles Excellent organizational skills to load/unload efficiently and manage route schedules effectively Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise and dedication to service help connect communities!
