Overview Join our dynamic team as a Rural Carrier Associate and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to communities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages, mail, and parcels along designated rural routes. Your enthusiasm for customer service and driving will help ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a positive experience for every customer you serve. Duties Safely load, unload, and organize packages, ensuring accurate delivery to assigned addresses along rural routes Drive various vehicle types including box trucks and courier vehicles with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Load and secure shipments using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items Navigate route driving efficiently, adjusting for weather or road conditions to meet delivery schedules Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction during each delivery Collect signatures or proof of delivery when required, maintaining detailed logs of completed deliveries and route activities Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks to ensure safety and operational readiness Experience Previous experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly desirable Familiarity with commercial driving, including operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmissions Demonstrated ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving items using forklifts or pallet jacks Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting residents and clients Experience in route driving or navigation within rural areas preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus but not required Ability to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and stay organized throughout the day This role is perfect for energetic individuals who thrive on physical activity, enjoy driving, and take pride in delivering outstanding service.
