Job Description
Job Overview:
Position will be 10-20 hours per week in Rice with potential to have full 40+ hours per week helping out other offices in the area. Position will be Saturdays and one Sunday every 4- 5 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Drive assigned route to deliver and collect mail in rural areas
- Load and unload mail items into delivery vehicle
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail
- Provide excellent customer service to residents along the route
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Perform heavy lifting of mail items as needed
Qualifications:
- Will need personal vehicle for route delivery
- Proficient in heavy lifting techniques and capable of moving large mail items
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents
