Job Overview The Rural Carrier Associate is a vital role within our postal service, responsible for delivering mail and packages to rural areas. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of driving skills, physical stamina, and a dedication to maintaining high standards of service. Duties Deliver mail and packages along designated rural routes in a timely manner. Operate delivery vehicles. Load and unload mail and packages, ensuring safe handling during transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and returns. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from customers. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Must have vehicle that you can drive from R hand side Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Background as a delivery driver or courier is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. Proficient in route driving with knowledge of local areas for efficient navigation.
