" position Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a City Carrier, where you'll be the vital link connecting communities through reliable and efficient delivery services. As a City Carrier, you'll be responsible for delivering packages, mail, and parcels to customers' homes and businesses with enthusiasm and professionalism. This role offers an energetic environment where your driving skills, customer service mindset, and physical strength will shine. You'll play a key part in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards and providing excellent service to every customer you serve. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques Deliver parcels efficiently along assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs at residential and commercial locations. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting recipients courteously, answering questions, and addressing delivery concerns professionally. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly. Experience Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is beneficial. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to follow detailed routes and schedules reliably while maintaining safety standards.
