Position Overview Berry Law is seeking a Support Services / Mail Room Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth flow of communication, documents, and deliveries across the firm. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence. This individual operates with integrity, takes ownership of their work, and supports the team with a "get it done" mindset. Key Responsibilities Mail & Package Operations Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail (USPS, FedEx, UPS, and hand-delivered items) Prepare and process outgoing mail with accuracy and timeliness Track packages and notify recipients promptly Document & Administrative Support Digitize incoming documents and manage electronic processing Assist with scanning, copying, and organizing legal documents Support preparation of exhibits and supplemental materials Deliveries & Logistics Complete pickups and deliveries for attorneys and staff Deliver documents to courthouses, vendors, and internal teams Act as a runner when needed Organization & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked mailroom Ensure compliance with document handling and confidentiality standards Maintain accurate records of mailroom activity Internal Service Provide responsive, professional support to attorneys and staff Resolve mail and delivery-related questions efficiently What You Bring Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn systems and software High level of accountability and follow-through Positive attitude and team-first mindset Preferred Qualifications Military member, Veteran, spouse, dependent, or family member Experience in administrative, mailroom, logistics, or office support roles Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and transport packages as needed Our Core Values Integrity
