Mail Sorter - Avenel Intro At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Mail Sorter to work with a leading logistics company in Avenel, NJ. Join a team dedicated to keeping the world moving forward by delivering what matters most. We are looking for hardworking individuals who are ready to contribute to a growing team focused on building a brighter future. Shift Patterns Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to Finish Shift lengths average between 6 to 10 hours based on mail volume Final schedule will be reviewed during orientation Pay Rates 15.92 USD hourly Essential Requirements for Mail Sorter Ability to pull up to 50 lb. bags off chute hooks Correctly label and place bags into placarded boxes Ability to lift and move boxes of mail up to 50 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to read labels Skills Requirements for Mail Sorter Detail-oriented to ensure proper placarding and labeling Ability to follow clear directions and standard operating procedures Use of pallet jack (training provided) Role Tasks for Mail Sorter Load, unload, and sort mail of various sizes Inspect mail and packages to ensure no items are damaged Maintain a clean and organized workspace Ensure all mail is processed efficiently to meet delivery standards Benefits for Mail Sorter Opportunity to work with a world-class logistics team Stable work environment focused on professional growth Hands-on training provided for equipment usage
