Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mail Carrier and become a vital link in delivering mail and packages efficiently and reliably. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following designated routes to deliver mail and parcels. Load and unload shipments, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items. Conduct thorough route driving to ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining a high standard of customer service throughout. Assist with manual lifting, moving packages, and organizing shipments within the warehouse or delivery vehicle to optimize efficiency. Verify recipient information, obtain signatures when required, and handle any delivery discrepancies professionally. Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, pickups, and route activities to ensure accountability and smooth operations. Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving, heavy lifting, and warehouse procedures to promote a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver with a strong focus on route driving efficiency. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients during deliveries. Warehouse experience including load & unload procedures, moving heavy items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or drivers preferred. Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles confidently; familiarity with commercial driving regulations is essential. Physical strength for heavy lifting, moving packages, and performing manual tasks throughout the day. Knowledge of safety standards related to driving, warehouse operations, and equipment use in logistics environments.
