The Emergency Room offers a fast-paced and engaging environment where Emergency Department Nurse professionals care for patients across a broad spectrum of acuity levels. This modern Emergency Department includes 25 beds, stroke center capabilities, new MRI technology, 24 hour OB coverage in the ED, and a full RN staff committed to exceptional patient outcomes and teamwork. Nurses within the ER, ED, Trauma Services, and Acute Care settings enjoy working with experienced clinicians who prioritize patient safety, efficiency, and compassionate care delivery. The department emphasizes communication, collaboration, and clinical excellence while providing valuable opportunities to sharpen emergency nursing skills in a supportive coastal hospital environment.
The ER Registered Nurse will report to experienced nursing leadership within a highly collaborative Emergency Department structure that values transparency, mentorship, and frontline support. Emergency Services RN professionals are supported by charge nurses, nurse educators, physicians, respiratory therapists, imaging teams, laboratory professionals, and ancillary staff who work cohesively to deliver outstanding patient care. Daily responsibilities include rapid patient assessment, emergency interventions, critical thinking, patient advocacy, interdisciplinary coordination, and maintaining exceptional clinical standards.
