Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and organized Mailroom Coordinator to support the daily handling of incoming and outgoing mail and packages. No previous mailroom experience is required, and full training will be provided. The position includes receiving deliveries, sorting mail, preparing outgoing packages, checking labels, and keeping the mailroom clean and organized. This role is open to beginners who are dependable, attentive to detail, willing to learn, and comfortable working with a team. Responsibilities Receive incoming letters, packages, and routine deliveries. Sort mail and packages according to addresses, departments, or delivery instructions. Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate locations or recipients. Prepare outgoing mail and packages for shipment. Check addresses, labels, and basic delivery information for accuracy. Organize mail and packages so they can be located and delivered efficiently. Record basic incoming and outgoing mail information when instructed. Prepare shipping labels and other package information as needed. Check packages for visible damage and report issues to a supervisor. Keep the mailroom clean, safe, and organized. Organize mailroom supplies and notify a supervisor when supplies need replenishment. Assist coworkers with routine mailroom and delivery tasks. Qualifications No previous mailroom or coordination experience is required, and full training will be provided. You should be reliable and able to complete assigned tasks carefully and on time. Basic English skills are helpful for reading addresses, labels, and workplace instructions. Attention to detail is important when sorting mail and checking delivery information. Teamwork is important because you will work with coworkers to complete daily mailroom tasks. You should be organized and comfortable completing routine tasks in an orderly manner. You should be willing to learn new procedures and ask questions when needed. The position is open to beginners who are dependable, motivated, and eager to learn.
Pay:
$25.43 - $30.63 per hour
