Job Overview Join our team as a Rural Carrier Associate and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to communities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering mail, packages, and parcels along designated routes. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure timely deliveries while providing friendly customer service to residents and businesses alike. Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques, heavy lifting, pallet jacks, or forklifts as needed Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes with precision and timeliness Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with recipients, answering questions, and addressing concerns Maintain accurate delivery records, route logs, and delivery confirmation documentation Assist in route planning to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety issues promptly Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services, with a strong focus on route driving and customer interaction Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles preferred Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day; physical strength is essential Familiarity with warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures using forklifts or pallet jacks Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous but not required; training provided if necessary Prior experience in warehouse work or moving services is a plus Join us in delivering more than just mail — deliver smiles! $21.00 - $21.89 per hour
