Job Description

Description:
As part of the legal community since 1975, Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell, PLC provides the highest caliber legal counsel in a broad range of practice areas. The Firm is seeking a part-time clerk/runner for our Memphis, Tennessee office. The schedule for the part-time position would be midday - 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday, approximately 20-25 hours per week. No morning schedule is available. To be considered for the position, please submit a completed application online. Please no phone calls.
Requirements:
Essential Functions:
Pick-up/delivery of interoffice items such as files, interoffice envelopes, outgoing mail etc. Sort/distribute incoming mail. Apply postage to outgoing mail. Pick-up/drop off mail from local post office. Drop off packages to overnight boxes. Complete copy/scan/fax jobs as needed. Bind documents when requested. Various driving errands such as court filings, deliveries to other law firms, etc. Pick-up lunch orders for meetings as needed. Answer the phone as needed. Other duties may be may be assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
This position requires that the employee be able to lift boxes up to approximately 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up/down stairs. Must have reliable transportation, driver's license and proof of insurance for driving errands. High school diploma or GED
