Job Overview Call Squad Media LLC is seeking a dependable and organized Mailroom Assistant to support daily mail, package, document, and administrative operations. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a professional and fast-paced environment. The Mailroom Assistant will receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming mail and packages while preparing outgoing materials and maintaining accurate records. Training will be provided, and previous mailroom or administrative experience is not required. Responsibilities Receive and sort incoming mail, packages, and deliveries Distribute mail and packages to the appropriate employees or departments Prepare outgoing mail, documents, and packages for shipment Verify addresses, labels, and delivery information Track incoming and outgoing packages when necessary Maintain accurate mailroom and delivery records Coordinate with postal services, couriers, and delivery providers Notify employees or departments when packages arrive Inspect packages for visible damage or labeling issues Report missing, damaged, or incorrectly delivered items Organize mailroom areas and package storage Maintain mailing and shipping supplies Assist with scanning, copying, filing, and document organization Enter basic information into company systems Keep the mailroom and work areas clean and organized Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as assigned Requirements Previous mailroom or administrative experience is not required High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Strong attention to detail Good organizational and time-management skills Basic computer and email skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand, walk, bend, and handle packages during the workday Willingness to learn new procedures and systems About the Position The Mailroom Assistant helps ensure that mail, packages, and documents are received, organized, processed, and distributed efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and interested in gaining practical experience in mailroom operations, administrative support, document handling, and logistics.
Pay:
$22.20 - $23.20 per hour
