In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, organizing, and preparing packages for shipment and delivery. Your proactive approach will ensure that all items are accurately loaded, unloaded, and stored, contributing to smooth distribution processes. Responsibilities Load and unload packages using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe handling. Organize packages within the warehouse, maintaining clear and accessible filing systems for easy retrieval. Operate RF scanners to track inventory movement accurately throughout the distribution process. Assist with shipping and receiving duties by verifying shipments against documentation and inspecting incoming goods. Use forklift trucks to move heavy or bulky items safely around the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment. Support inventory management through regular stock checks and proper storage practices, ensuring efficient workflow. Requirements Prior experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly, demonstrating physical strength and endurance. Familiarity with forklift operation and certification is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided. Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking enhances efficiency in this role. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, shipping, and receiving tasks. Ability to load and unload packages safely using appropriate equipment. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety standards.
