We are seeking a mail sorter who is responsible for efficiently sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail within the hospital facility. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that important documents and communications reach their intended recipients in a timely manner. Job Responsibilities Receive and Sort Mail Receive incoming mail and packages Sort mail based on department, floor, or individual

Distribute Mail:

Deliver sorted mail to designated departments, offices, and individuals. Ensure accurate and timely distribution of mail

Process Outgoing Mail :

Collect outgoing mail from various departments. Prepare outgoing mail for delivery by sorting, labeling, and packaging Follow Security and confidentiality protocols : Adhere to hospital protocols regarding the handling of sensitive and confidential information Maintain the security and privacy of mail and packages Communicate effectively with staff to resolve any mail-related issues Required Skills and Qualifications Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience
• Previous experience in a mailroom or similar role is preferred Organization Skills
• Stong organizational skills and attention to detail Communication Skills
• Good communication skills to interact with hospital staff Physical Requirements
• Must be able to walk, bend, reach, climb, and lift 25 pounds or more. Dependability
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to meet deadlines
