Job Description

This position is scheduled from 8:30-4:30, M-Th and 8:00-4, Fridays. We are a busy, fast-paced practice who believe in attention to detail and providing the best care to our patients. The following tasks and duties are examples of typical duties for this position: Checking patients out
  • collecting copays, scheduling follow up appointments, ordering labs/imaging/PT/etc. at providers' direction. Scheduling appointments
  • new patients, follow ups, post ops Scanning
  • Scanning patient documents into ECM Request VA/Tricare authorizations for additional visits or outgoing referrals. Chart building
  • preparing and querying charts for upcoming appointments, verifying all previous orders have been completed, tracking down documentation.
Calling and scheduling referrals Sending chart notes to PCP Other related duties as needed This position is cross-trained to be able to cover other areas of the office to meet operational requirements. Experience in check-in, scheduling, or billing is an asset.
