Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and member-focused Summer Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support our office during the busy summer season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent member service, and assisting with administrative projects. The role includes front desk reception duties, phone support, and assistance with a large document scanning and organization project.

Summer Employment Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some flexibility may be available as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for members, visitors, and callers in a professional and welcoming manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls courteously and efficiently Provide excellent member service by assisting with general inquiries and directing requests appropriately Support a large-scale document scanning, filing, and records organization project Maintain organized digital and physical files Assist with general clerical and administrative tasks as assigned Help keep the reception and office areas tidy, organized, and professional Qualifications /
Requirements:
Strong attendance and reliability; consistent punctuality is essential Friendly, cheerful, and professional demeanor Excellent member service and communication skills Courteous and respectful when interacting with members, the public, and coworkers Basic computer skills and comfort using office equipment (scanner, copier, phone system, etc.) Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized during repetitive tasks Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in an office environment Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous reception, office, or member service experience is a plus, but not required Experience with scanning, filing, or document organization is helpful
