Job Description
Law firm is a small firm located in North Alabama practicing general law. We are excited as we continue to grow and are looking for a professional with a friendly attitude and the ability to multitask to serve as a receptionist in our firm.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing, friendly and genuinely caring attitude for others as well as a desire to learn and excel in this position. Our potential new clients need an individual that is able to understand and decipher their needs. This candidate must possess persuasive skills and be customer service-oriented with extremely strong attention to detail. This candidate must have a proven history of law firm experience as well as possess the aptitude to accurately screen potential client calls. They will have exceptional communication and organizational skills, be self-motivated and able to multi-task. This person must be able to report to work in a timely, dependable, and reliable manner. Background in both sales and law office experience would be very beneficial.Responsibilities :
Speak with potential clients with empathy and compassion to assess legal needs and fit Send and maintain intake forms using Lawmatics CRM as well as persistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (via telephone, internet, e-mail) Follow-up and maintain contact with pending inquiries Update "pipeline" of potential new clients, schedule consultations as required Assist with other legal administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, running errands, serving subpoenas Assist with other marketing efforts for the firm as needed Skills Minimum of one year experience in a family law firm required Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor Detail-oriented and highly organized Computer and technological skills required Knowledge of Clio case management software or other CRM and Mac Operating System is a plus Ability to prioritize workload and assignments Ability to work independently, manage workload, and keep deadlines without extensive guidance Applicable knowledge of the legal field including motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, etc. beneficial Strong attention to detail Ability to follow office direction and procedures Excellent interpersonal skills Punctual with strong attendance history Clean and professional dress appearance at all timesExperience and Education:
High school required (no GED) 3-5 years of proven working experience in the customer service field Prior experience working in a law office or similar field that would provide familiarity to the legal system College Degree preferredJob Type:
