Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and positive attitude will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this vital role, you will create a welcoming environment, manage appointments, handle medical records, and coordinate communication between clients and veterinary staff. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes for pets and their owners Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate with veterinary staff to optimize daily workflow Collect payments, process medical billing, and handle medical collections with accuracy and professionalism Maintain detailed patient records using veterinary terminology and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about services, procedures, and pet care advice Facilitate communication between pet owners and veterinary professionals regarding treatment plans or follow-up care Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal healthcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques enhances effectiveness in this role Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and appointment scheduling Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members in a professional manner Join us as a Veterinary Receptionist where your energy fuels our mission to provide outstanding pet care!
