Job Description
Receptionist - Medical Clinic Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Clinic Receptionist, where your friendly demeanor and organizational skills will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient service. We are committed to creating a welcoming environment for our patients and supporting our medical staff with efficient administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using the clinic's scheduling system Maintain and update patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and document management Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operationsSkills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration is a plus Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and office software Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach Our clinic fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where growth and development are encouraged.
