SUMMARY:
Seeking a High School intern who is at least 16 years of age and has a desire to learn the business and marketing side of the healthcare industry. The internship provides an opportunity for students to explore a future career possibility in the Senior Living/Assisted Living industry as well as gain real-world work experience.

Interns may work up to a maximum of ten (10) hours per week. This is a temporary position and starts at $14.35 an hour.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. Factors such as regular attendance at the job are not routinely listed in job descriptions but are an essential function. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist our Marketing & Sales Directors with projects for each of our 32 communities. Assist our Recruitment Director with writing and formatting job ads, while learning interviewing skills and processes. Assist our HR and Accounting teams with data entry and various business projects. Assist our front office staff with answering phones, mailings, and invoices. Perform assigned duties specific to the operational needs of the corporate office.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Demonstrated Knowledge of:
Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and Google. Basic clerical procedures.
Skill in:
Working independently or under the guidance of the supervisor. Interacting with people in a professional setting. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to problem solve. Share job details to
