Job Description

Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative Homestead Animal Clinic Be the First Welcome Our Clients Receive At Homestead Animal Clinic, we understand that the first interaction a client and their pet have with our team can set the tone for the rest of their visit. As the first face many clients and patients see when they walk through our doors, our reception team plays an important role in helping people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in the care their pet will receive. We're a small, independently owned veterinary practice with a team of approximately 10 full- and part-time employees. Our size allows us to know our coworkers, work closely with our veterinarians, and build lasting relationships with the clients and pets we serve. We're looking for a Receptionist / Customer Service Representative who is warm, dependable, organized, and genuinely enjoys working with people and pets. Skills and Responsibilities As a Receptionist, you'll help keep the front office running smoothly while playing an important role in the client and patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
Greet clients and patients warmly when they arrive Answer phones and respond to client questions in a professional, helpful manner Schedule appointments and manage the daily appointment flow Check patients in and out Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and the medical team Update and organize client and patient information Maintain inventory of pet food and treats Computer and scheduling knowledge Comfortable asking questions and learning new things Familiar with animal care and procedures Our schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am -5:30 pm. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
