Part-Time Job Overview Primp and Blow Tempe is looking for an outgoing, energetic, and customer-focused Salon Receptionist / Guest Experience Coordinator to join our growing team! As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you play an essential role in creating the exceptional experience Primp and Blow is known for. Key Responsibilities Greet every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling Answer incoming phone calls, text messages, and guest inquiries Provide knowledgeable recommendations about salon services, memberships, and retail products Promote and sell salon memberships, gift cards, and retail products Assist with maximizing appointment bookings and filling available openings Encourage guests to rebook their next appointment before leaving Process payments and accurately manage daily transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and retail area Assist with daily salon opening and closing procedures Support salon promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives Communicate effectively with stylists and management to ensure smooth daily operations Resolve guest concerns professionally and help create positive guest experiences What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is: Friendly, outgoing, and confident when interacting with guests Professional, dependable, and punctual Highly organized with strong multitasking skills Comfortable recommending and selling products, services, and memberships A strong communicator with excellent phone etiquette Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple responsibilities A positive team player who takes initiative Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and point-of-sale software Excited about the beauty, wellness, and customer service industries Available to work some evenings and weekends Previous receptionist, retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred. Salon experience is a plus but not required.
