Hiring Pay Range:
$17.51-$18.59
DOE Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (Monday-Thursday, 10 hrs days for June and July) 40 hours per week, 12 months per year

Definition:
Under immediate supervision of the Human Resources Manager, performs receptionist work of routine difficulty at the District Office.
Essential Functions:

Tasks:
Greets and manages visitors to the District Office; Answers multi-line phones and routes calls; backs up school site phones; Opens and secures the main lobby area and secures the outside gates at the end of the work day; ensures the pristine appearance of the lobby and the restrooms; Answers questions from the public regarding enrollment procedures, verifying addresses are within district boundaries, and explains general information about the District, schools and policies; maintains supply of information flyers in lobby; Provides clerical support to the Human Resources Director and Assistant Superintendent by placing employment ads, creating and copying documents, ordering supplies, creating requisitions, coordinating the purchasing process, and handling mailings and filing; Handles receipt and routing of packages, faxes and other items; Supports Assistant Superintendent\'s office upon request; Supports Superintendent\'s office and maintains District Office equipment, (copier, FAX machine, shredder, etc.) and requests service and supplies, as necessary; Coordinates MAC main conference reservations & courtyard reservations and updates log pages; Coordinates Facilities/Maintenance work orders, as needed and inspects fire extinguishers; Maintains and distributes MAC personnel phone roster; Maintains and distributes lobby phone coverage calendar; Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Other Characteristics:
Knowledge of CFSD residency rules, boundaries and enrollment procedures. Knowledge of CFSD policies and procedures and web site. Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures. Knowledge of basic record maintenance practices and procedures. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Skill in politely and efficiently answering multi-line phones, routing calls and greeting visitors. Skill in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing. Skill in using word processing software. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and administrators, students, parents and the general public. Bilingual skill (Spanish) is preferred, but not required.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
