As a key member of our team, you'll coordinate appointments, manage medical records, and support veterinary staff with essential tasks. Duties Greet clients warmly and efficiently check in and out pets for appointments, surgeries, or boarding Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and manage the clinic's calendar to optimize workflow Handle medical collections accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims Maintain detailed medical records, including laboratory results, treatment notes, and vaccination histories Assist with animal handling tasks such as restraint during examinations or procedures, ensuring safety for pets and staff Support kennel operations by assisting with animal husbandry duties like feeding, cleaning, and monitoring pet behavior Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff regarding treatment plans or follow-up care Qualifications Previous experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal healthcare settings preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, pet care practices, and animal restraint techniques Familiarity with laboratory procedures, medical collections, and aseptic techniques is a plus Experience with dog handling, pet grooming, or pet training enhances your ability to connect with animals effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing records and scheduling Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint methods; experience with animal husbandry or kennel work is advantageous Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members Join us in providing exceptional care for animals while delivering outstanding service to their owners!
