The ideal candidate enjoys working with clients, answering questions, and being a key part of a collaborative veterinary team. Reception area is all newly constructed with new computers and a new printer. Only candidates with 1 year minimum of veterinary reception experience is required. Our clinic is located just minutes from Dog Beach, a few parks and surrounded by convenient options for food. We pride ourselves on maintaining an upbeat, supportive environment with a team of outgoing professionals. Our clinic is non corporate and privately owned by Dr Lewis himself. We are open Monday to Fridays 8am-6pm and open 2 Selected Saturdays of the Month from 8am-1pm. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays. Responsibilities Greet clients and patients in a professional and welcoming manner Answer phones, address client questions, and provide accurate information Schedule appointments and manage daily workflow efficiently Process payments and maintain accurate medical records Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff Assist in maintaining a clean, organized front office Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital (required) Saturday availability (required) Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented and highly organized Polite, patient, and professional demeanor Knowledge of veterinary medications, vaccines, and potential reactions Ability to quickly learn and use veterinary practice management software, we currently use Pulse by Covetrus.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
