Job Description:
The Temporary Part-Time Client Services Assistant (Receptionist) must be an exemplary world class representative of the company, assertive team player and enjoy working with people. The ideal candidate is able to prioritise workload and special projects while maintaining protocol at the reception desk. Assist the Director of Building Operations & Client Services.
Requirements include:
Working multi-line phones in a fast-paced professional environment, knowledge of phone software A positive and friendly presence at all times, the "Great first impression" person Strong verbal communication skills: must be able to clearly articulate over the phone with excellent pronunciation Confidentiality within the workplace Prompt and reliable Ability to write business correspondence and interoffice memos with appropriate grammar and spelling Proficiency using Microsoft Office in creating and modifying business documents Good judgement, problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to screen solicitors and protect the privacy and integrity of the company. Willingness to learn and develop additional skills Ordering and re-stocking of office supplies as needed Administrative and other office support Being able to lift 25 lbs/stocking Typing 45 per minute Basic Math skills Helpful Skills include: Data Entry Creating spreadsheet worksheets in
Excel Attire:
  • The Client Services Assistant shall dress professionally in business casual attire as he/she is the first impression when guests enter the building.
Attire shall not be too revealing or too casual. If in doubt, dress more professionally than casually and consult your supervisor. Comfortable and practical footwear that does not pose a safety hazard shall be worn. Inappropriate attire will be sent home to change.
