Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a professional demeanor to create a welcoming environment for all clients. Experience with POS systems, retail sales, and basic math is preferred, along with the ability to handle cash handling and cashiering responsibilities. Bilingual skills are a plus to serve our diverse clientele. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and manage appointment scheduling efficiently Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette and assist clients with inquiries Handle POS transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Promote and upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and sales Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including merchandising and stocking products Manage retail sales, product demos, and inventory stock levels Assist with basic retail math calculations for sales transactions Support the salon team with administrative tasks as needed Ensure client satisfaction through attentive customer service and effective communication Requirements Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving a diverse clientele Experience with POS systems and upselling techniques is a plus Supervising experience or familiarity with merchandising and stock management is beneficial Friendly, approachable personality with excellent organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Prior experience in a retail setting is desirable but not required
