You will be the first point of contact for pet owners and visitors, ensuring smooth clinic operations while providing outstanding customer service. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming and friendly environment that supports both pets and their owners throughout their veterinary journey. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to animal health and well-being. Duties Greet clients warmly and efficiently check in and out pets, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders to optimize clinic flow Handle medical collections accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims Assist with kennel management, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring animals' well-being Support veterinary staff with animal handling, restraint, and basic animal care tasks such as pet care advice Maintain detailed records using veterinary terminology and ensure confidentiality of client information Facilitate laboratory procedures by preparing samples and recording results accurately Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans, medication instructions, and follow-up care Requirements Experience in veterinary reception or customer service within animal healthcare settings Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, restraint techniques, and aseptic procedures Experience with medical collections, laboratory work, and handling both dogs and cats Familiarity with kennel operations, animal catheterization, critical care procedures, and laboratory protocols is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and appointment management Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and fun environment while maintaining compassion for animals and their owners Join us to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families!
