The following candidate must:
REQUIRED
: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Some experience in the optical/optometry industry is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.Job Requirements:
- Excellent customer service, communication skills, multitasking capabilities, exceptionally organized, punctual, and professional appearance
- Comfortable with using the computer to make appointments, patient data entry, scanning documents, and creating sales invoices
- Needs to have a strong interest in helping patients and assisting with their needs
- Must be productive and efficient
Preferred Candidate Experience:
- Knowledge of assisting patients in eyewear selection, in lenses recommendations, eyewear adjustments, taking accurate PD, segment height, ocular height measurements, and dispensing of eyewear
- Understand managed care plans benefits and authorizations, billing insurances, recording payments
- Knowledge of ordering eyeglasses and contact lenses, optics, using lensometer to verify spectacle prescription, basic medical terminology
- Prior experience in sales or customer service
Other Duties:
- General Office responsibilities
- Front desk tasks / administrative duties include greeting customers, answering phone calls, handling company inquiries, processing and tracking inventory, Verifying insurances, submitting patient insurance information, scheduling appointments, record keeping, data entry, scanning forms, customer recall, and updating patient records Must be available on Saturdays Please submit your 1 page PDF resume.
