Job Description
Description We are looking for a skilled Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Menlo Park, CA. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a welcoming and attentive experience. Your responsibilities will include managing administrative tasks, maintaining the front desk, and supporting the daily operations of the office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff.
- Answer and manage inbound phone calls promptly while maintaining an attentive demeanor.
- Prepare and set up meeting rooms to ensure readiness for scheduled events.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as sorting mail and managing office supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to reflect a well-maintained environment.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services or policies.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars as needed.
- Handle documentation and data entry tasks with precision and confidentiality. Requirements
- Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and basic office software.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Friendly and detail-oriented demeanor when interacting with visitors and team members.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
