A premier orthodontic practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and creating beautiful smiles is looking for an enthusiastic Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. Our state-of-the-art facility is located on the San Francisco Peninsula, where we offer a friendly and professional work environment. As a paperless office, we utilize the latest technology to enhance efficiency and patient experience. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Scheduling Coordinator to help us continue to deliver outstanding service to our patients.
Job Description:
As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the appointment schedules for our orthodontic office. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice by coordinating patient appointments, managing the daily schedule, and providing excellent customer service to our patients. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Manage the daily schedule to ensure optimal patient flow and efficient use of office resources. Coordinate with the orthodontic team to accommodate appointment changes and urgent requests. Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Maintain accurate patient records and update appointment details in the practice management software. Answer patient inquiries and provide information about treatment plans, appointment availability, and office policies. Assist with billing and insurance verification as needed. Support the front office team with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical/dental administration is a plus. Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic office is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Competent computer skills required, including familiarity with scheduling software, email, and basic data entry. Experience in a paperless office environment is a plus. Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor.
