Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients
• Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
• Process payments for services rendered and handle financial transactions accurately
• Utilize veterinary terminology to accurately communicate with clients and staff members

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred
• Knowledge of pet care, dog training, equine, animal husbandry, and aseptic technique is a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency in using computer software for scheduling appointments and managing client records
• Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach towards animals and their owners
• Flexible schedule with nights and weekend availability a must
• Willing to cross train and work at this location and our spay and neuter clinic nearby.
