Immediately Job Description Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. Fallbrook Union Elementary School District (FUESD) is nestled in the foothills about 50 miles northeast of San Diego, California. The District extends from the Pacific Ocean I-5 (San Clemente Area) and East of the 1-15. Mary Fay Pendleton & San Onofre (Extended Learning Opportunity Program) are located on Camp Pendleton base. Operates a central telephone system. Receives and greets office callers and refers them to proper persons and offices. Places, receives, and completes long distance calls. Takes and transmits messages. Gives routine information in response to inquiries. Sorts and distributes incoming mail. Prepares outgoing mail for receipt by Post office and UPS. Performs assigned clerical tasks such as filing, typing, preparing forms, assembling and distributing materials when not engaged in switchboard operations. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING
No experience is required; however, previous clerical experience is desirable; equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.

Proficiency tests are administered at the District Office in the Human Resources Department, at 321 Iowa Street, Fallbrook, CA 92028. It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol-screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
