Position Overview The Front Desk is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while maintaining a calm, organized, and detail-oriented approach. This position is open for work on the ground floor and/or second floor. Availability for both opening and closing shifts is required, with a stronger need for closing shifts. Key Responsibilities Greet clients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and client check-in/check-out Confidently manage a multiple phone line system, handling calls efficiently and courteously Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with clarity and care Accurately process payments, memberships, packages, and retail sales Maintain a clean, organized, and serene front desk and lobby area Communicate effectively with practitioners regarding schedules and client needs Educate clients on services, wellness offerings, and spa policies Maintain accurate client records while ensuring confidentiality Multi-task effectively, balancing phones, client flow, and administrative duties Demonstrate strong attention to detail in scheduling, billing, and client communication Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to support a positive, respectful, and efficient workplace Manage laundry, including washing, drying, and neatly folding towels and uniforms Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all areas of the facility Restock supplies and ensure common areas are fully stocked Qualifications & Skills Prior front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience (spa or wellness setting preferred) Strong multi-tasking abilities in a busy environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable managing a multiple phone line system Strong communication and interpersonal skills Calm, professional demeanor with a client-first mindset Familiarity with Booker scheduling software is a plus, but not required Interest in wellness, holistic health, or self-care is highly valued Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $17.75/hour (minimum wage) Commission opportunities Employee discounts on services and retail products Employee package available after 90-days of employment: 1 complimentary 60 Minute Swedish massage and 6 Healing Hours How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief introduction explaining why you'd be a great fit for Karma Wellness.
