• Twain Harte, CA Twain Harte Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and compassionate part-time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.

We are a fast-paced, community-focused practice dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients and exceptional service to our clients. As the first point of contact, our receptionists play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive experience for both pets and their owners. Punctuality and reliability are essential in this role , as our team depends on each other to keep the day running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage multiple lines Process payments and maintain accurate client records Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, and follow-ups Assist with coordinating patient flow and supporting the veterinary team Handle sensitive situations with empathy, including sick or grieving pets and owners

Qualifications:

Previous veterinary or medical reception experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Comfortable working with animals and emotional situations Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance Basic computer skills and ability to learn practice management software
