•Pawsh Place Veterinary Center is seeking a front office customer service representative for our full-service animal hospital.

Duties:

Handling busy phones and determining what requires immediate care Gather and input client and patient information into medical records. Managing the daily appointment schedule Process Payment transactions. Checking in and discharging patients Taking prescription refill requests Strong communication skills Multi-tasking and stress-management abilities Familiarity with veterinary software Cleaning of reception and lobby area. A big heart and a love for animals The right candidate will have excellent skills in client communication and a willingness to learn!

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field preferred Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal husbandry, and medical collection procedures Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff members Ability to handle dogs and other animals safely and confidently Familiarity with dog training, pet grooming, and animal handling techniques is a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
