Job Description

EXPERIENCED FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST FOR OUR SHADELANDS WALNUT CREEK LOCATION
FULL

Spanish speaking ability preferred but not necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet, schedule and register all patients and insurances and accurately process patient registration and insurance information, including data entry.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and execute duties in a fast pace and high patient volume environment.
  • Assist patients in understanding how to complete forms and verify accuracy of patient form completion.
  • Obtain authorization for treatment and enter information in computer system.
  • Respect patients' right to privacy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain an orderly and professional working atmosphere.
  • Properly dressed according to the approved dress code.
  • Adhere to guidelines concerning working hours and break periods.
  • Demonstrate support to others by offering help.
  • As a Team player able to come up with a solution to a problem perceived.
  • Maintain professional standards and procedures ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and Company policies and procedures.
  • Take all the necessary precautions to protect center assets and property against loss or waste through negligence or dishonesty.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Skill in using common office equipment, including computers and comprehensive knowledge of Word, Excel.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with patients, other staff and the general public.
  • Skill in filing/organizing.
  • Strong ability for problem-solving and conflict resolution skills when handling patient complaints; refers patient complaints to appropriate designated personnel as needed
  • Good telephone manners and etiquette.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Detail orientation and organization.
