Summary:

\nThe Receptionist/Secretary meets and greets all who enter Gordon Early Literacy Center. The Receptionist signs guests in using the RAPTOR security system and directs them to the desired location. The Receptionist also answers incoming calls.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Receive visitors.\nWalk students and visitors to appropriate locations.\nMaintain dismissal logs for students.\nImplement building safety plan when required.\nMaintain reception area.\nManage phone calls and messages.\nAssist with phone calls when programs have an early dismissal or cancellation.\nDistribute mail.\nDuplicate multiple copies on photocopier for all staff as requested.\nAccept delegated work from fellow Gordon secretarial staff

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma required\nPrior experience in secretarial field required, 3+ years experience strongly preferred\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, File Maker Pro, First Class & Microsoft Excel required

Professional or Other Required Clearances:
