Summary:

The salon receptionist position is a multi-task position that supports our salon objectives and provides our clients and staff with excellent service. The duties of the salon receptionist include but are not limited; scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, high level multi-tasking, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide all guests with consistent quality service Perform all treatments according to protocol with skill, proficiency, and pleasant demeanor Be able to answer phone calls and schedule salon clients Promote the Salon and all services, products, and programs Must exhibit proper use of a product and abide by all product control guidelines while maintaining a clean, neat, sanitary environment Lead by example and be an effective role model for peers and guests Maintain a cooperative team attitude with coworkers and management Be aware of appearance, promptness, quality of work and attitudes with guests Provide lateral service and assist in other operational aspects of the Salon when not conducting a treatment for a guest which can include: assist the technician (s), monitoring the locker rooms for cleanliness, taking inventories, stocking and restocking treatment rooms, folding laundry and promoting the Salon to our guests and locals

Qualifications & Requirements:

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills Must be able to communicate in English; read, write & speak. Other languages preferred. May be required to work night, weekends, and/or holidays and extended hours during the FOL season.

Other:

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated the ability to interact with clients, associates, and third parties. Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently. Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often. Memorization of the salon products and services.
