We're looking for warm, dedicated people who want to be part of building this practice from the ground up
  • figuring it out together while truly caring for our patients, their families, and one another. Job Summary People bring their pets to us on some of the most emotional days of their lives
  • when they're worried, relieved, grieving, or celebrating. The clinical team heals the animals. You are the first point of contact and first line of care for the humans. A warm greeting, a calm voice on the phone, a moment of genuine reassurance
  • these aren't small extras. They're the difference between a client who feels truly cared for and one who feels like just another appointment. At Pawpaw Tree Vet, we treat every interaction as a chance to make someone feel seen, supported, and glad they chose us. We need a CSR who believes that too. What you'll do Be the warm, welcoming face clients see first
  • every single visit, no exceptions Answer phones with genuine friendliness, patience, and clarity Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the daily flow efficiently Handle check-ins, check-outs, payments, and follow-up communications Field questions about services, medications, and care instructions with confidence and care Triage incoming calls
  • quickly recognizing when something is urgent Maintain accurate, detailed client and patient records Support the clinical team so they can focus on patients Keep the front of house tidy, calm, and welcoming at all times What we're looking for Experience in customer service, reception, or veterinary front desk
  • preferred but not mandatory A naturally warm, friendly demeanor that doesn't turn off at 5pm Composure under pressure
  • vet clinics move fast and emotions run high Strong communicator: clear, kind, and direct whether in person, by phone, or in writing Sharp attention to detail
  • the small stuff matters here Comfort with technology and willingness to learn practice management software Genuine love for animals and the people who adore them Reliability, punctuality, and a deep sense of personal responsibility Comfortable working independently
  • some responsibilities may be handled remotely on a negotiated basis You can learn software. You can learn our protocols. You can get faster at scheduling and sharper at multitasking. But we can't teach someone to care. We can't train warmth, or patience, or the instinct to make a nervous pet owner feel like everything is going to be okay. If that comes naturally to you
