$16.00 - $19.00 / hour Description Ranch Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to join our busy, well-established practice in Bradenton, FL. Our front desk team plays a critical role in our success, serving as the connection between clients and our medical staff. As a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative , you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. You will support daily hospital operations by managing appointment flow, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional client service—often in emotionally sensitive situations. This position requires confidence, efficiency, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume veterinary setting. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and pets with a warm, professional, and compassionate demeanor Manage multi-line phones and respond to client inquiries efficiently and accurately Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for wellness visits, procedures, and diagnostics Provide estimates, explain services, and address client questions or concerns with empathy Support clients during routine visits as well as stressful or emotional appointments Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Ensure proper intake of new patient information, medical histories, and consent forms Maintain organized, confidential, and up-to-date patient records Assist with appointment flow to support efficient daily operations Process payments and generate accurate invoices Answer client questions regarding charges and services rendered Assist with insurance-related questions or claim submissions when applicable Communicate effectively with veterinarians and veterinary technicians regarding patient flow and client needs Coordinate with the medical team to ensure smooth transitions between appointments Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area Skills, Knowledge & Expertise to Be Successful This is not an entry-level position High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 1+ year of experience in a veterinary clinic, medical office, dental office, or healthcare customer service role required Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, people-facing environment Strong multitasking, organization, and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of emotional intelligence and professionalism Comfort using computers, appointment scheduling software, and EMR systems Ability to remain calm and composed during busy or emotionally charged situations Prior experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or Client Service Representative (CSR) Familiarity with veterinary terminology and hospital workflows Experience with practice management software Confidence handling estimates, invoicing, and client education What We Offer Part-Time Role Set, consistent schedule: Wednesday-Friday No rotating shifts — ideal for candidates seeking predictability and balance While this is a part-time position, we are committed to providing a supportive and engaging work environment: 💰 Competitive hourly pay ($16.00-$19.00) 🐾 Employee discounts on veterinary services and products 📚 Ongoing training and skill development 🤝 Supportive, team-oriented culture 🌱 Opportunities for long-term growth within Ranch Animal Hospital and the broader veterinary network 🧠 A workplace that values professionalism, collaboration, and client-centered care If you're an experienced veterinary or healthcare receptionist looking for a part-time role with a consistent schedule and a positive, professional team, we'd love to hear from you. 👉 Apply today to join Ranch Animal Hospital and help create exceptional experiences for pets and the people who love them.
