Job Description

Our Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is a key member of our team and is the face of our company when patients come to our clinic! We are looking for a proactive go-getter who is friendly and welcoming. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist/Administrative Assistant with prior experience in a speech and/or occupational therapy clinic or similar healthcare setting. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and supporting a positive experience for clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients and visitors warmly and professionally Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls/messages appropriately Schedule and confirm therapy appointments using our scheduling software Collect and verify insurance information; process co-pays and payments Maintain accurate client records and assist with documentation filing Communicate with therapists, staff, and families to support scheduling and administrative needs Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized front desk area Handle incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience working in a therapy, medical, or clinical office (required) Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality (preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient with office software and scheduling systems Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment Please only apply if you are bilingual English/Spanish Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo
