Job Description

Growing Ophthalmology practice in Delray Beach is seeking a full-time candidate with strong customer service skills and professionalism. Experience with managing incoming phone lines, and multi-tasking. Candidate must be personable, friendly, and organized. Must be a team player dedicated to quality patient care. Duties include checking in/out patients, accurate registration, manage multiple phone lines, confirm patient appointments, data entry, and insurance verification, manage and sort incoming faxes/documents, and maintain records requests. Must possess strong customer service and communication skills and enjoy working with patients.
Required:
High school or equivalent Medical terminology knowledge Minimum 1 year medical office experience, ophthalmology experience a plus
Duties:
  • Greet and welcome patients and guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in using phone systems and office equipment including Microsoft 365.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling information
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
