Job Description As a Kennel Technician/Receptionist , you will play an essential role in maintaining the comfort, cleanliness, and well-being of our patients while also supporting our front desk team. This hybrid position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on animal care as well as client interaction. Primary Responsibilities Animal Care & Kennel Duties Providing compassionate handling and care for dogs, cats, and avian/exotic patients Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, and hospital areas Walking dogs and monitoring animals during their stay Feeding, watering, and observing patients for changes in behavior or health Assisting with laundry, facility cleanliness, and general upkeep Reception & Client Service Greeting clients and assisting with check-in/check-out Answering phones and scheduling appointments Processing payments and maintaining accurate billing Managing patient records and ensuring accurate documentation Supporting the team with daily administrative tasks Requirements Experience in a veterinary clinic, kennel, shelter, or animal care setting preferred Prior customer service experience strongly preferred Comfort and confidence handling animals of all sizes and temperaments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer skills; knowledge of AviMark is a plus Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Schedule Day shift Sunday to Saturday 4, 8, or 10-hour shifts depending on availability No nights Salary Flexible based on experience.
