Total Spine & Orthopedics is a dynamic, multi-specialty practice specializing in orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, and interventional pain management. We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the welcoming first point of contact for patients. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service, this is an exciting opportunity to grow with a practice that values its team and promotes from within. What You'll Do As our Front Desk Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience by: Greeting and assisting patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism (in person and by phone) Managing a high call volume along with voicemails, emails, and faxes Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating appointments and follow-ups Completing accurate patient check-in and check-out processes Collecting and updating patient demographic and insurance information Verifying insurance eligibility Collecting co-pays and outstanding balances; maintaining daily money logs and end-of-day statements Assisting clinical staff with chart preparation Scanning, faxing, and maintaining electronic medical records Communicating effectively with providers, staff, and departments to support patient care What We're Looking For Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a moderately fast-paced medical environment Proficiency with computers and office software (Microsoft Office) EHR experience preferred (eClinicalWorks/ECW is a plus) Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities Experience in medical receptionist role a plus Why Join Us?
