Insurance Coordinator / Front DeskOverview We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Insurance Coordinator / Front Desk team member to join our growing dental practice. This position plays a key role in supporting daily office operations by managing insurance verification, patient scheduling, treatment coordination, and front desk responsibilities while delivering an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, professional, and able to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment. Experience with dental insurance, scheduling, treatment planning, and Eaglesoft software is strongly preferred. Job Summary The Insurance Coordinator / Front Desk is responsible for verifying dental insurance benefits, maintaining accurate patient schedules, coordinating treatment appointments, collecting payments, and ensuring smooth front office operations. This role also assists with patient communication, recall efforts, and maintaining production goals by helping fill the schedule with pending treatment. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance eligibility, benefits, frequencies, and limitations Update and maintain insurance fee schedules Create and maintain insurance coverage breakdowns Coordinate and manage patient scheduling efficiently Attach co-payments and financial information to appointments Collect and post patient payments accurately Check out patients and ensure treatment codes match completed procedures Ensure patients leave with their next scheduled appointment Complete daily recall and confirmation calls Assist in filling the schedule with pending treatment during downtime Respond to patient questions professionally and courteously Help maintain a positive and welcoming office environment Support office production and scheduling goals Handle patient concerns and provide excellent customer service Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of dental front desk or insurance coordination experience preferred Experience with Eaglesoft dental software preferred Knowledge of dental insurance verification and treatment planning Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Employee dental benefits Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Work Location In person Please submit your resume for consideration.
