Job Description

Job Overview Casey Key Resort is looking for a warm, guest-focused, and highly organized Front Desk Receptionist to oversee weekend and holiday operations at our beautiful beach side property. You'll be the face of every guest's experience ensuring every room is pristine, every issue is resolved with a smile, and every common area reflects the standard our guests expect. You will lead housekeeping oversight on-property and serve as the primary point of contact for all guest needs. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role. Duties Guest Experience & Customer Service Serve as the primary on-property contact for all guest needs, questions, and concerns Monitor guest arrivals and departures, verify occupancy and pet arrangements Handle and resolve on-property guest issues promptly and professionally Manage early check-ins and late check outs and endorse any unresolved issues Ensure VIP beach service arrangements are communicated and executed Guarantee every guest room is welcoming Assist with Events Inquiries Housekeeping Oversight Coordinate work orders Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and readiness for check-in Verify all common areas are guest-ready Ensure laundry room and ADA facilities are stocked and cleaned at end of shift Inspect rooms for last-minute reservations Property & Operations Open the office; maintain cleanliness and ensure the front desk area is presentable at all times Walk the property to assess issues: beach chairs cleared, parking lot and permits in order, bay side chairs arranged Notify any maintenance or guest issues Check beach for chairs and close gates at end of shift; secure keys and turn closed sign Report lost and found items; track flowers needed for next-day check-ins Provide remote availability through chat for urgent after-hours issues on days off Experience Proven experience in hospitality or guest services Natural people person, warm, composed, and solution-oriented with every guest interaction Strong eye for detail: cleanliness, presentation, and room readiness standards matter to you Experienced coordinating a housekeeping team Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritize and problem-solve on the fly Reliable and fully available on weekends and all major holidays — non-negotiable Join us in creating a welcoming environment where professionalism meets friendliness!
