Front Desk Receptionist PrimeMED is a busy medical office looking for a medical front desk specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall success of the front office functions of our multi-specialty medical practice. This individual provides good judgement in the coordination of all practice activities that contribute to the successful performance of this role. Front Desk Receptionist

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

Provides excellent customer service Greets patients and visitors to the medical practice Assist with Check In and Check Out of patients Schedule future patient appointments Confident with a computer, specifically Athena EHR experience Verify insurance for patient appointments Registers patients in the practice management system which may mean entering information given verbally or on registration forms Collects identification and insurance cards and copies or scans them for the medical record Collect co-pays and outstanding patient balances Assist referral coordinator with patient referrals Answer phone calls, take messages and make appointments
